Risk of Rain 2 เกมแนว Coop Action Roguelike ที่ให้ผู้เล่นจะต้องมาล้างเผ่าพันธุ์สัตว์ประหลาด พร้อมหาทางหลบหนีจากต่างดาวร่วมกับเพื่อนได้เป็น 4 คน โดยมีเหล่ามอนสเตอร์, ไอเทมเสริมความแกร่ง และบอสที่สุ่มให้เจอต่างกันตลอดเวลา รวมทั้งผู้เล่นจะสามารถเลือกตัวละครที่มีสกิลแตกต่างกันได้มากมายหลายตัว

สำหรับเกมดังกล่าว ก็ถือว่าผู้เล่นเกมชาว Roguelike และ Coop ไม่ควรพลาดเป็นอย่างยิ่งเลยจริงๆ เนื่องจากการจะต้องไปเจอบอสแต่ละตัว จะมีความยาก และท้าทายให้ต่อสู้เป็นอย่างมาก โดยเฉพาะการที่มันยกเหล่าลูกสมุนออกมากันอย่างยกโขยง จนผู้เล่นจะต้องมาตายบ่อยๆ แล้วเริ่มเล่นใหม่เพื่อทำเป้าหมายให้สำเร็จ ผู้เล่นจึงจะต้องสามัคคีกับเพื่อนร่วมทีมให้ดีๆ และวางแผนกันอย่างรอบคอบ ไม่เช่นกันก็อาจจะพลาดเสียท่ายกทีมได้ง่ายๆ
