Shatterline คือเกมที่ดึงของดีจากเกมอื่นที่มีอยู่แล้วมาใส่ไว้ในเกมของตัวเอง และทำให้มันน่าสนใจขึ้น อย่างแรกเลยคือแนวเกมยอดนิยมที่ดึงมาจากเกมต่าง ๆ ค่อนข้างมาก นั่นคือความเป็นเกมแนว Hero Shooter ที่ตัวละครแต่ละตัวจะมีสกิลและความสามารถที่แตกต่างกันออกไป  Team Deathmatch ก็เป็นการเอาโหมดเกมยอดนิยมจากทุกเกมมาใช้ โหมด Escort หรือการดันรถ ก็มาจากเกมหลายเกม แต่ถ้าเอาที่ชัดจริง ๆ ก็อาจจะมีความคล้าย Overwatch โหมด Conquest ที่เป็นการยึดจุดก็มีมาจากหลายเกมด้วย

นอกจากนั้นระบบ Progression ของตัวละครและอาวุธนั้น ก็น่าจะได้แรงบันดาลใจมาจาก Call of Duty ด้วย โดยทุกครั้งที่เราหยิบตัวละครใด หรืออาวุธใดมาใช้ เราก็จะได้ค่าประสบการณ์ของตัวละครและอาวุธนั้น ๆ เมื่อเลเวลเพิ่มขึ้นก็จะสามารถปลดล็อคของแต่งปืน และสกิลความสามารถได้ด้วย
