ในตัวอย่างเกมเพลย์ของ Wild West Dynasty เราจะได้เห็นคาวบอยแดนตะวันตก ที่ต้องลงมือทำแทบทุกอย่างในการดำรงชีวิต เริ่มตั้งแต่ยิงหมูป่า สำรวจเหมืองแร่ โค่นต้นไม้ ทุบหิน จากนั้นสร้างบ้านและที่พักอาศัยของตัวเองขึ้นมา

ทีมผู้พัฒนา Moon Punch Studio ออกมาเผยว่า เกมนี้คือเกม Survival ที่เราต้องเอาตัวรอด หาที่พักอาศัย ทำฟาร์มปศุสัตว์ เลี้ยงดูครอบครัว และกลายเป็นสุดยอดผู้ประกอบการด้านอสังหาริมทรัพย์ แต่ระวังให้ดี ยิ่งคุณมีชื่อเสียงและความเคารพมากเท่าไร คุณก็ยิ่งตกเป็นเป้าหมายของพวกนอกกฎหมายมากขึ้นเท่านั้น

PCGamer ระบุว่า แม้แต่พวกเขาเองก็ยังไม่ไว้ใจ ว่าทีมงานเล็ก ๆ จะทำเกมสเกลระดับนี้ออกมาได้ แต่เพราะ Wild West Dynasty ได้ Toplitz Productions ที่รับหน้าที่จัดจำหน่าย Medieval Dynasty  ทำให้มันน่าจะมีความน่าเชื่อถือพอสมควรว่าเกมจะต้องออกมาดี
